I’m running out of time, can’t calm down to write,

Can’t find the right words that rhyme, left with a messy mind.

If you see what I’ve written, you wouldn’t understand,

Unclear as my chances. My heart, it’s you it demands.

Chorus 

With a few ticks left til the day I’d see you last

I want to spend time with you, though I know this fantasy will pass.

i’m not worth your time. You’ve got better things to do. 

I still want to be with you, it just won’t do. 

Verse 2 

I know we both feel the same way, that’s the truth

I know what I feel is true, I just couldn’t say this to you. 

Why is it hard knowing you’ll say goodbye,

I just can’t believe time isn’t on our side.
